Fly Fishing Special!   Seven days seven nights in and around Kodiak Island with your fly rod! We go where the fish are running and park right there!

  • For the more experienced fly fisher :
  • Silver Salmon. Chum Salmon. These two fish are big and strong and will run into your backing every time. Cast #2 and #4 streamers and hang on. We find them in the salt water, estuaries and streams.
  • Fishing dates: Mid August through September. Guests arrive late Saturday afternoon for a night in Kodiak and to get settled on Single Star. Depart Kodiak the next morning on a breakfast cruise and travel to your first destination. Start fishing  and then fish some more. There are several steams and bays to fish and we will fish several.
  • Each year the runs change in size and timing. Each season is different. Fish with the bears and take a chance at an early Steelhead.
  • Limited to four fishers, two per deluxe stateroom with built in bunks. Shared bath with great shower!
  • Fee: $17,500 for seven day and seven nights.

Trout fisherman wanted! Have you ever dreamed of catching 50 five pound Brown Trout on a given day? All hungry and eager to take your fly and run with it? That’s what casting to fresh sea run Pink Salmon is like. These fish are just entering fresh water to spawn and are very defensive and aggressive; covered with dark spots they sure look like a big trout coming in! Use a #6 wt. rod and make cast after cast with a fighting fish on. A great father-son trip. Lessons included from a Certified FFF casting instructor and registered guide. Wait until we cook one of these fish up for lunch on the beach.

Fee: $12,500 for 5 days and 5 nights.
